FAQ
What size is the mat?
298.5 mm across, 11.75 in, at 3.18 mm thick. Cut for a twelve inch record and a standard platter, with a centre hole for the spindle.
What is it made of?
21oz heavyweight felt, 712 g/m² of polyester against the sixteen ounce standard. High compression, so it pills less and holds less static. Semi-rigid, so it lies flat. The reverse is plain and unglazed, which is what sets the slip.
What does a slipmat actually do?
It reduces friction and unwanted vibrations, protects the surface of your turntable, and improves both sound and overall presence. A simple upgrade for a more stable and refined playback experience.
Is it for listening or for DJing?
Both. The felt is heavy enough to sit still under a record and slick enough on the reverse to let one move when you want it to.
How is it printed?
Non-abrasive, advanced dye-sublimation. The ink dyes the fibre rather than sitting on top of it, so there is nothing to feel under a record and nothing to lift. One face or both.
How does it ship?
Flat, inside a record jacket with a backing board, with a care card. Felt loses its structural integrity when it is rolled.
Can I put my own artwork on it?
Yes, from ten units. Your file stays on record so reorders carry no design fee. Start at custom.
How long does a custom order take?
Two to three weeks from the moment artwork is approved.
Do you ship outside the US?
Yes. Rates are calculated at checkout.
